We depart from Cape Town for Lambert’s Bay/ Clanwilliam, an attractive fishing town on an un-spoilt stretch of coastline.
Our first border crossing is into Namibia where we stay at the Orange River. The next day we’re heading for the Fish River Canyon. We continue on to the Namib Naukluft National Park and the giant dunes of Sossusvlei. This is one of the world’s oldest deserts, offering over 130 million years of natural wonder. Climb the dunes for an unforgettable sunrise, including a guided walk.
Two nights at Swakopmund, the delightful Bavarian-style town, situated snugly between sea and dessert. Great beaches, deep sea fishing, quad biking, dune boarding, flights over the dessert, plus an array of shops, bars and restaurants await you.
Leaving Swakopmund we journey through the classic Namibian scenery to Twijfelfontein and the fabulous Etosha National Park. This is Namibia premier Game Park, dominated by shimmering white saltpans and an abundance of game.
During 2 nights you will have a chance to see elephant as well as black rhino, lion and leopard. Etosha also has the unique attraction of floodlit water holes, which are excellent for evening game viewing.
We leave Etosha for the stunning Waterberg Plateau National Park. It is renowned for its incredible rock formations and guided walks and trails.
We spent a night in Windhoek and Springbok, before we drive back to Cape Town
