Sherwood Lodge is situated on the beautiful Golf estate “De Zalze” near the historic and vibrant university town of Stellenbosch. This wonderful quiet location with spectacular views of the mountains is just the place for visitors who wish for a peaceful holiday of outdoor fun, yet still be close to a city environment. Nearby are trails for jogging and walking as well as some of the famous vineyards of the Western Cape.
The lodge has 3 spacious and well appointed double, en-suite, bedrooms and an extra separate apartment. From the open plan kitchen and lounge area, with integrated bar, you can stroll directly onto the terrace, the sparkling pool and the garden. |
Sherwood Lodge is ideal for golf lovers. Our own golf cart can be used and cheaper fees can be arranged for avid golfers. Maria who lives in a small completely separate flat behind the house is available daily for cleaning and laundry. Upon request, she even prepares breakfast or full meals.
